Competition Winners!

32nd Kettering (All Saints) Rainbows were awarded 1st prize in the "Plan UK because I am a girl" take a photo competition - part of a wider challenge by Girlguiding UK to encourage every member to "Change the World".
We changed the world by raising money to help girls go to school in Western Africa. The boys are able to go to school and many of the girls stay at home to help with the daily chores.
Our photo depicts two young girls holding hands in friendship and the Rainbows were invited and attended a prize giving ceremony at the Association of Photographers Gallery, Old St, London on 29th October. The exhibition is being displayed from 27th - 31st October. The Unit were presented with a book, a dual camera and video and each member received a T shirt as a memento. The Chief Guide Liz Burnley was present along with members from Plan UK and the judges. There were 600 entries to this competition from the Rainbow section alone.

1st Oxley Park Senior Section Unit won first prize in the senior section category and came second overall.
